STAFFING

1. Board of Directors:

• Oversees the organization’s mission, strategy, and policies.
• Provides governance and strategic guidance.
• Comprises individuals with diverse expertise and backgrounds, ensuring effective decision-making.

2. Executive Director:

• Leads the organization, implementing the board’s directives and strategies.
• Manages day-to-day operations and supervises the leadership team.
• Acts as the primary contact between the board, staff, and external stakeholders.

3. Advisory Board:

• Consists of external experts or stakeholders providing specialized advice.
• Offers insights on specific areas like legal, finance, or community engagement.

4. Staff:

• Comprises individuals responsible for various operational functions, programs, and administration.
• Includes program coordinators, administrative staff, and other operational roles.

5. Volunteers:

• Contribute to various programs and initiatives on a voluntary basis.
• Support the staff in executing day-to-day activities, events, and programs.

6. Finance Director:

• Oversees financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Manages financial risks and ensures compliance with financial regulations.

7. Fundraising Director:

• Leads fundraising initiatives, including donor relations and grant applications.
• Develops fundraising strategies to secure financial support for AYCSII programs.

8. Operations Director:

• Manages and optimizes operational processes and logistics.
• Ensures efficiency in resource allocation and utilization.

9. Program Director:

• Oversees the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs.
• Works closely with staff to ensure program effectiveness and alignment with AYCSII mission.

10. Communications Director:

• Leads communication strategies and branding efforts.
• Manages external communications, PR, and media relations.

Location

The organization will be based in Perth, Western Australia, strategically positioned to serve the local African-Australian youth population effectively.
