The Australian Youth Community ServiceHub Integration Incorporated (AYCSII ) aims to reach a specific group within the community, focusing on:
African-Australian Youth:
- Post-Imprisonment: Youth transitioning back into society after imprisonment, aiming to support their successful reintegration.
- Vulnerable Backgrounds: African immigrants who are facing socio-economic challenges, including limited access to resources, education, and employment opportunities.
- Socially Disadvantaged: Youth dealing with systemic issues, such as racial biases and societal stigmas impacting their ability to reintegrate effectively.
Key Characteristics:
- Ages 15-24 AND 25-30 Targeting young adults within this age bracket facing challenges related to post-imprisonment and community reintegration.
- Seeking Empowerment: Individuals seeking support in employment, education, mental health, and community engagement to build a positive future.
- Diverse Backgrounds: Representing diverse African backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual
Their Needs:
- Employment Support: Seeking guidance and resources for job readiness, resume building, and skill development for meaningful employment.
- Rehabilitation: Needing counseling, mentorship, and rehabilitation programs to address emotional, mental health, and reintegration challenges.
- Community Connection: Craving a sense of belonging, and wanting to engage in positive community activities and cultural programs.
